Do You Send Teams Of People In To Clean My House?
No, under normal circumstances we will send one thoroughly trained housekeeper to clean your home. We feel sending teams of people into homes only increases liability and communication issues. This is one of the many ways Cleaning Maid Easy sets itself apart form the competitors.
Do You Send The Same Person Every Time My Home Is Cleaned?
We make every effort to send the same cleaner to your home for each visit. Our goal is to provide you with consistency no matter what; even if circumstances demand a staffing change.
All of the housekeepers provide the same consistent service to every customer, if you would like to make a change, please do not hesitate to ask.
How Do I Know I Can Trust The Person You Send To My Home?
We are very particular about who we hire.
Every Cleaning Associate undergoes a rigorous screening process that includes extremely thorough criminal background checks.
Our Cleaning Associates are all given top-notch training to meet our demanding standards, and we regularly conduct quality inspection checks.
Our Cleaning Associates respect customers by never eating, drinking, smoking or using appliances during home cleanings.
Trust is a vital component of our business.
Do We Have To Sign A Contract?
No, there are no complicated contracts. We are happy to earn your business each time we clean!
The only thing we ask is, if you must cancel a regularly scheduled appointment, that you do it at least 48 hours in advance. A cancellation without enough notice to reschedule another appointment directly affects the Cleaning Associates income.
What Time Will The Cleaning Associate Be At My Home?
We normally work Monday through Friday. We wan’t you to enjoy your weekends with no interruptions. We may make exceptions if we have a Cleaning Associate who can work weekends. We are very flexible and will work with you to find a day and time that meets your needs.
We cannot guarantee an exact time the Cleaning Associate will arrive because each home gets the attention it deserves. We never rush through jobs and never leave until the job is done to our standards. However, we do offer arrival time windows and preferences to fit your needs. Our software provides each Cleaning Associate with a detailed schedule which they try hard to adhere to. Our normal business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM.
What If Something Breaks or is Missing?
While every effort is made to use great care in your home, sometimes accidents happen. Our Cleaning Associates are trained to immediately notify our office (and you) if something is broken or damaged so that we can handle the situation as soon as possible. In the unfortunate event that a breakage occurs, we will promptly make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced.
This is yet another advantage to only sending one person into a home rather than a team like most cleaning services. The Cleaning Associate knows that if something were to come up missing, they would be the first person asked about it. Because of this, the Cleaning Associates have always been very cautious to make sure that nothing is moved or misplaced.
Do You Provide The Cleaning Supplies Or Do We?
The choice is yours. We realize that most customers already have cleaning supplies and basic cleaning equipment (vacuum, broom, mop) in their home. Our fee is based on using your cleaning supplies, but if you would rather us provide them we are happy to do so. We can provide you with a list of Suggested Products© if you are going to provide the supplies. Alternatively, we are happy to use our products and equipment which each Cleaning Associate has with them at all times.
How Do You Get In My House If I Am Not At Home?
You do not need to be home, although of course you’re welcome to be. Most of our customers are not at home when we come to clean. We will make personal and confidential arrangements with you on how to gain access to the house. From time to time, our Cleaning Associates have arrived to find they cannot get into the home or office. We of course pay them for their time and in doing so bill our clients for 50% of the service that would have been performed. We can also work with you to try to fit you into another spot that week to avoid this charge.
Do I Have To Do Anything Before The Housekeeper Arrives?
In order for the housekeeper to do their job, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items. The housekeeper will not know where your personal items belong and we prefer that they not go into your closets or drawers to put things away.
Place fresh linens on the beds if you would like us to strip the sheets and remake the bed with clean linens.
What If My Cleaning Is Scheduled On A Holiday?
We will contact you to reschedule your appointment.
What If I Need To Reschedule An Appointment?
Please call our office at least 48 hours in advance.
How Should I Pay For The Service?
Payment is due the day of your cleaning. We gladly accept credit cards and for regularly scheduled cleanings, we can securely store your payment information and charge you the day of your cleaning. Some customers find it convenient to leave a check on the kitchen counter, made payable to Cleaning Maid Easy along with the cleaning supplies you want us to use. Alternatively, you can call the office before your cleaning is scheduled and we can take payment over the phone.
Why Does The First Time Cleaning Cost More?
The first time we clean your home it always takes longer. Because of this we charge an additional fee. Often there are areas of the home that have not been cleaned in a while. (Ex: washing the outside of the kitchen cabinets from top to bottom or the top of the refrigerator.) The first time cleaning fee covers the additional time required to thoroughly clean all items listed on the ScoreBoard©
Do I tip the Cleaning Associate?
Tips for our cleaners are neither expected nor required. Leaving a great review on Google or Facebook will mean a lot to them and help them get more customers. Our cleaners want to know that their work met or exceeded your expectations. However, if you do wish to leave a tip, please place it on the kitchen counter.
What Form Of Quality Control To You Provide?
Every time we clean your home the housekeeper is going to leave you a form called a ScoreBoard©. We would like for you to make sure that all of the items listed on the form have been done in each room that was cleaned. Please return the ScoreBoard© to our office so the housekeeper can receive credit for a job well done. Points accumulated on the ScoreBoard© determine who our “Housekeeper Of The Month” is. You can also submit your ScoreBoard© online at our web site.
Our Cleaning Associates are all given top-notch training to meet our demanding standards, and our Field Training Manager regularly conducts quality inspection checks.
What About My Pets?
We love animals, but sometimes they don’t love us. If you think your pet may become overly anxious while we are there, please make temporary arrangements (such as the garage, a kennel, or a closed off room) while we are in your home.
